Highlights
- Independently designed and developed a comprehensive utility platform offering high-speed URL shortening, secure note storage, and dynamic QR code generation.
- Leveraged NestJS as the core backend framework to capitalize on personal technical strengths, enabling rapid development cycles while maintaining a robust, scalable, and standardized RESTful API architecture.
- Tackled the performance challenges inherent to URL shorteners by designing highly optimized MySQL schemas. Applied strategic indexing to efficiently handle high-frequency read/write operations, ensuring near-instantaneous link redirection.
- Took full ownership of the production deployment and infrastructure setup. Configured Nginx as a reverse proxy for optimal request routing and utilized PM2 for robust process management, guaranteeing high system availability (HA) and stable continuous operation.
